Compressed air-powered motorcycle

This point is the outlet for compressed gas fuel future problems, young students Dean Benstead, RMIT University (Australia) has produced 02 Pursuit.

02 Pursuit same as the special motorcycle 250 cc, gearbox taken from the Yamaha WR250F and engines powered by compressed air DiPietro. Body structure, chassis helps the car stand out at speeds up to 100 km / h. Young designers to create the first model aims to build ideas rather than technology solutions. Benstead believes Pursuit 02 features can be upgraded in the future.

The design concept is built on computer models before the body and chassis engineering is a local plant production. Benstead want to explore the feasibility of replacing the use of traditional fuels by compressed air.

But students plan to redesign the entire chassis and will use other materials instead of steel pipes aimed at weight reduction and increased stiffness to the body.
